Day 1 – Barcelona. Modernism in all its diversity.
- Accommodation in Barcelona, in a 4/5 stars boutique hotel.
Morning: Panoramic views of Barcelona and walk at the Park Güell, where discover the famous technique of modernist mosaic, trencadís, worked by Gaudí. At the end of the visit, this technique will be practiced in a private craftsman workshop.
Midday: Free time to walk through the attractive Paseo de Gracia and have some snack.
Afternoon: Private guided visit to the artistic jewels of the Sagrada Familia and the Pedrera. Return and relax at the hotel.
Night: A dinner tasting menu in a restaurant with modernist atmosphere.
Optional: Finish the day with a delicious drink or listening to a nice concert in one of the most emblematic buildings of Catalan Modernism.
Day 2- Barcelona. A wine experience throughout all the way.
- Accommodation in Barcelona.
Morning/Midday: Short transfer by private car to the town of Alella, framed in the wine region with designation of origin “Alella“. Here will take place the wine experience: ALTA ALELLA. A walk through vineyards located just meters from the Mediterranean Sea and placed on a magnificent natural amphitheater. Visit the wineries to know their preparation and their particular location. Finish with an “Epicurean Picnic” from a privileged location overlooking the vineyards and sea.
Afternoon: Back in Barcelona, a walk around city heart to discover the Catalan Gothic, with historic buildings, seductive nooks and squares, up to the iconic Ramblas.
Day 3 – L’Empordanet. Stones with identity. Medieval route.
- Pick up at the hotel and transfer to Girona.
- Accommodation in charming little hotel, close to Girona.
Morning: In a carriage, cycle-touring, hiking or the private car, to tour around villages in which seeing a magnificent Medieval, with Romanesque churches, Gothic palaces and reinforced walls.
Lunch: Typical lunch from this area, in a private room in a restaurant, in the medieval village of Peratallada.
Afternoon: Tour with a local guide through the medieval villages of Peratallada and Pals, from where to contemplate the wonderful view of the small Empordà (L’Empordanet), with all the range of colors offered by these landscapes.
Day 4 – The Garrotxa. Pleasure of Nature.
- Accommodation in Girona.
Morning: First thing in the morning, from a hot air balloon, enjoy a spectacular view of the Garrotxa region, observing its natural landscape and its more than 40 volcanoes. After the flight, a generous breakfast region style will be taken, including a cheers with cava to celebrate the flight christening.
Midday: Guided visit major cultural destinations of Spain like Besalú, designated as historical heritage and owner of one of the major European Jewry.
Afternoon: Return and relax at the hotel.
Night: A dinner tasting menu, including wines tasting, in a local restaurant with Michelin star.
Day 5 – Montserrat, Cathedral of Nature, and Sitges, artistic charm of the sea.
- Pick up at the hotel and route until Montserrat.
- Accommodation in little hotel with its own history, in Tarragona.
Morning: Visit Montserrat, to discover all the charming corners of this magna and emblematic mountain of Catalonia and of its 11thC Benedict Monastery, which are very important symbols of Catalan history, spirituality and culture.
Lunch: Free time to have lunch at Montserrat.
Afternoon: Panoramic route from Castelldefels to Sitges, all along the serpent road of the Garraf mountain ridge beside the Mediterranean Sea. On the way, you will visit Celler Güell, a modernist winery by Francesc Berenguer and Antoni Gaudí. Once in Sitges, a walk with a local and private guide by this seductive Mediterranean village, which by its light has enchanted painters, sculptors and writers.
Night: Dinner with Mediterranean-tasting products in the hotel.
Day 6 – Tarragona Veni, vidi, visit. More than 2.000 years of history.
- Accommodation in Tarragona.
Morning: Get to know the ancient history via the exclusive route of “Tarraco traces”: its amphitheater, the Roman circus, its modernism, the central market, …
Lunch: Tapas lunch in a typical tavern at the Tarragonés old town.
Afternoon: To know a real colla castellera (human towers). From a private location, to watch one of their demonstrations, chat with one of their members and take part in their act of building a human tower.
Optional: Night route around the city and cocktails tasting.
- Pick up at the point of arrival to Barcelona.
- Transfer to the hotel by car with private conductor that will accompany us throughout the whole tour.
- Welcome drink and TOC Tour presentation.
- Accommodation with breakfast at selected hotels: 2 nights in Barcelona, 2 nights in Girona and 2 nights in Tarragona.
- Ended the TOC Tour, it will be offer a farewell cocktail.
- Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the starting point.
